Cyber-security: everybody's imperative

Cyber Security has become a principle concern among organisations, influencing not only technical staff but also CEOs and board members. This is a consequence of the rapid, unprecedented increase of high-profile attacks over the past few years, causing significant disruption to operations and hitting organisations’ bottom line as a result.

While attacks increase in volume and number, so too does their complexity and sophistication. A recent study estimates that a ransomware attack – one of many types of cyber-attack vectors – is executed every 40 seconds. That’s expected to increase to once every 14 seconds in 2019.
