As part of the ARI group, CTCARI began the development of Paphos and Larnaka airports’ Duty Free Shops in 2006, and has since evolved them into world-class facilities offering unique environments and customer experience.
This evolution had several unique challenges.
A 24/7 secure wireless network, ongoing physical security, fast access to surveillance video, a business continuity plan and a DR on Cloud Technologies all needed to meet high airport standards of speed and quality.
Within just 17 months, Logicom Solutions had analyzed, tested and fully implemented software and equipment that not only met head-on all of these challenges, but surpassed them.
Logicom Solutions world-class engineers worked closely with the customer CIO and IT manager to design from scratch and deliver a state of the art infrastructure solution, covering all LAN, WAN, WiFi, Datacenter Infrastructure, Perimeter and Datacenter Security needs. Technologies used are Cisco LAN Access switches, Central Distribution Catalyst 9410, Cisco Unified Wireless Network, Cisco WAN ISR Routing for multi-site connectivity, and Cisco Firepower Next Generation Firewalls.
Logicom Solutions also delivered valuable new services such as Cisco Unified Communications System IP Video Surveillance and ERP that extended to Point of Sales, maximising infrastructure availability and minimizing video surveillance response to a few seconds.
