Logicom Solutions participated in the ‘Famagusta, a smart city’ event organized by the Technical Chamber of Cyprus on the 26th of October. During the event, the director of Sales and Business Development, Mr. Charalambous presented together with Cisco how, using the Internet of Things, connected cities with embedded smart concepts, such as smart parking, smart lighting, smart waste management, and smart environmental monitoring, can transform the way communities are designed and built to ensure economic, social, and environmental sustainability, as well as citizen participation and engagement. Cisco’s technology solutions can deliver digital innovation opportunities for the city itself to create new revenue streams, improve access to public services, better community experiences, and create new operating models that drive increased efficiency.
